How to Check Your WiFi Channel on macOS

Open Terminal and run:

system_profiler SPAirPortDataType 2>/dev/null | grep -A 20 "Current Network"

Output looks like this:

Current Network Information:
    YourNetworkName:
        PHY Mode: ax
        Channel: 149 (5GHz, 80MHz)
        Country Code: ID
        Network Type: Infrastructure
        Security: WPA3 Personal
        Signal / Noise: -45 dBm / -88 dBm
        Transmit Rate: 1201

Channel 1-14 means 2.4 GHz. Channel 36-165 means 5 GHz.

Signal closer to 0 is better. -45 dBm is good, -80 dBm is weak.
